Ms. Jennifer Callahan
Ms. Jennifer Callahan and her family own and operate Callahan Cattle Company which is cattle operation involving purebred Angus seedstock, stockers and commercial cows with operations in Oklahoma and Craig County. She is also a partner at McAfee & Taft where she has worked since graduating from law school in 1996. Her practice focuses on tax and business planning, she serves on its board of directors and chairs the Agriculture and Equine Industry Group.
Her family are long time members of the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association, Farm Bureau, American Angus Association, and the Sirloin Club and supporters of Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma Youth Expo, and Cattlemen’s Congress. Jennifer’s community involvement focuses on youth in agriculture and helping to ensure the next generations have the educational and experience opportunities to pursue careers in agriculture. In 2015, she was a co-chair for the National Junior Angus Show. She was recognized as the 2020 Oklahoma Agriculture Women of the Year by Diamond Hats for service to youth in agriculture. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cattlemen’s Congress.
Ms. Callahan received a B.S. degree in Agricultural Business from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo where she worked in the beef cattle units and was a member of the 1989 Livestock Judging Team. She received her J.D. with highest honors in 1996 from the University of Oklahoma.
Ms. Callahan resides in Edmond, Oklahoma. She was appointed by Governor Kevin Stitt in 2024 to serve as a member of the A&M Board of Regents. Her term expires in 2032.
